The first afternoon was devoted to the presentation of the project. The principal investigators highlighted the research questions and work carried out along the conceptual cascade model: from socialization to health during childhood to medical care, from the embodied health to aging.

During the second afternoon, members of the Scientific Advisory Board were invited to present the main challenges in studying social health inequalities in their discipline and their country, and then to provide recommendations for addressing the main challenges of the Gendhi project.

Discussions were rich and convergent, focusing primarily on the gender lens and intersectional approach, the conceptual cascade model and causality, as well as the academic and non-academic impacts of the project.
