Scientific Advisory Board 2026

Gendhi’s Scientific Advisory Board (SAB) gathered for the 2nd time since the beginning of the project. The event took place on January 19th and 20th, 2026 at Centre des Colloques ( Campus Condorcet – Aubervilliers).

The SAB is composed of :

• Corey Abramson, Associate Professor of Sociology, Rice University
• Claudine Burton-Jeangros, Professor and Doctor of Sociology, Université de Genève
• Tarani Chandola, Professor of Medical Sociology, University of Hong Kong
• Maarten Lindeboom, Professor of Economics, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam
• Anne Mc Munn, Professor of Social Epidemiology, University College London
• Owen O’Donnell, Professor of Applied Economics, Erasmus University Rotterdam
• Sarah Richardson, Professor of the History of Science and of Studies of Women, Gender, and Sexuality, Harvard University
• Janet Shim, Professor of Sociology, University of California San Francisco

During the first session of the event, the evolutions of the project and the team since the first SAB were presented.

For instance, the  new conceptual model Gendhi was discussed.

PhD students and post-doctoral researchers had the opportunity to present their research projects to members of the SAB. This exercise showed the diversity of reserch projects led in the framework of this project, to open the discussion and to have enriching debates between colleagues from different disciplines.
